All Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) over 3,500kg Design Gross Vehicle Weight are required to display Vehicle Dimensions Plate, which contains information about vehicle identification, dimensions and permitted weights. If the plate is illegible or not up to current Department of Transport standard, the vehicle needs to have new Vehicle Dimensions Plate fitted. All imported vehicles need Vehicle Plate fitted.
